Social Lawn Bowling

Social lawn bowling games (we call them jitneys) are the central activity of the club. These jitneys are very informal – just show up ten minutes before the starting time, and someone will organize participants onto different rinks, depending on numbers. The social atmosphere on the lawn bowling green continues in the clubhouse afterwards, with tea, cookies and social chat for those who want to stay.

Jitneys are currently scheduled four times per week – Tuesday and Friday mornings at 10 AM, Sunday afternoons at 1:30 PM, and Wednesday evenings at 6:30 PM.
